Day One in Minecraft is the most important day because you have to collect a bunch of resources and such.
Your going to spawn on sand and this spot is where you will spawn when you die. So take note about where it is. Try to make your first house or cave near this spot.
1. Your going to have to find some wood to start off. So look for some trees!
2. Your going to have create/craft a work bench like so...
3. Making sticks and tools.
4. You have to find some coal, so look for some indents in mountains, mini caves, or cobble stone. Coal is a big part for your first night in Minecraft which we will cover in a later post. You need a pickaxe.
5. After you collect your coal you should go find a mountain side and dig a two by two hole and about six deep. Then place some torches on the walls for light, seeing as it will be night fall very soon. You are also going to have to make a door so place your work bench inside your hut and right click on it to bring up the crafting window. Then make a door like so...
If you follow those steps you will survive your first day in Minecraft. I wouldn't recommend going out side just yet, because your not geared up for the night yet. Our next post will teach you how to survive your first night in Minecraft!
