Armour and Weapons
Hey guys time to make some iron from scratch.
Step 1, You need to find a good spot to create a cave like this,
Step 2, Make a door and start your mining!
Step 3, You will need to mine around in the cave a bit to see if you can find any iron, so make your cave pretty big like this,
{Optional Step} If you cant find any iron at your level, try making some stairs going down, then making a new mine floor,
Step 4, Finding the iron ore! It will look like this,
Step 5, Mining the iron, you will probably find about 4-5 ores. We hit to veins we were extremely lucky, so don't think you will have this much iron ores as soon as you find them,
Step 6, Smelting the iron ore, you will need a furnace, and some coal or wood.
Step 6, Making pants, to make pants you have to place the iron ingots in this formation,
Step 7, Making a Helmet , to make a hemlet you have to place the iron ingots in this formation,
Step 8, Making Boots, to make boots you have to place the iron ingots in this formation,
Step 9, Making a Chest piece, to make a chest piece you have to place the iron ingots in this formation,
Step 10, Making a sword, to make a sword you have to place the iron ingots in this formation,
Step 11, Now you have to equip your Armour by bring up your inventory, and placing it on the side like this,
Step 12, Push F5 and have a full look of your self!
Step 13, Go and fight those freaking creepers!
We hoped you liked this tutorial!

v1.3 IS LIVE!
The v1.3 is now live. Here are a list of the new features implemented into the game.
- Implemented a new lighting engine with the help of MrMessiahs (can be turned off)
- Changed the options around, added a new “Graphics options” button
- Added beds. If all players in a map sleeps in a bed during night, the game immediately skips until morning
- Added three new half-size blocks
- Added Delay/Repeater redstone dust blocks
- * Added whitelisting to the server. To use, enter “whitelist <cmd>” where cmd is “on”, “off”, “add <player>”, “remove <player>”, “list” or “reload”
- New save file format, old maps need to be converted (that might take a while..)
- It’s now possible to have more than five save slots, and to rename saves
- Scrollbars in both the texture pack list, and in the map selection screen
- Replaced the Mojang splash image to reflect the new logo colors
- Finally a bunch of bug fixes and tweaks!
We will have more on this update later.

Creating your first hut.
So after your first couple days in Minecraft your probably getting tired of your little cave. Well who wouldn't? You don't want to be the only kid who goes to school, and one of your friends says hey can I come over? Well your thinking inside, no my house is a cave in a mountain. So you have to make up some lie because you don't want to be embarrassed. "Sorry not ever because my door to my house is broken." Then you are forced to transfer schools.
To avoid this problem you can move out and make your first hut. Something easy to use and simple to get is wood. I would recommend getting about 240 finished wood stacks to place.
1. Find a nice flat spot like this.
2. Make your hut about ten block by ten blocks, and four blocks high.
3. After you have built all around the and built the walls four high you can add a roof like this.
4. Stand back and admire.
5. Now walk inside and its dark. You can add torches, but you still want some additional lighting during the. So lets smelt some sand, to make glass. Take some wood add it to the bottom slot of your furnace, take some sand add it to the top slot of your furnace. Just like this.
6.Boom your hut is done.

Finding Food
In Minecraft you can get hurt a lot of ways. For example you jump off a cliff. You can lose some health. You stay under water for too long, you lose some health, you think your all pro so you go out side when its dark with a wooden sword and try to fight a creeper, boom, loose some health. No your sitting inside your cave that you dug in the side of a mountain, because you cant do anything because you have half a hearth left. What do you do? Go to Google and type in "Minecraft mods, hacks, cheats. No, no you don't do that. You just started playing Minecraft, so you don't need mods. Jesus have some sanity. What you do is go find pigs! Go whip out your stone sword and go start attacking the pigs! Pigs will drops you pork. You can eat the pork and it will give you more hearts. So boom go fight those creepers with your wooden sword, go show them who is boss. Go cliff jumping. Go stay under water for long periods of time. Who cares you got pork!

First Night
Your first night is going to be the toughest. You don't know whats happening out side of your little indent, you call home. There are Spiders, Creepers, Skeletons, Zombies with only one mission, to kill you. First off they can't open doors. First you are going to have to craft a sword.
Swords can be crafted out of wood, stone, gold, steel and diamond. It would be a good idea to keep one of these inside your inventory at all times. That is if you don't want to be be killed and lose all your stuff.
After you make you sword you can make a furnace out of stone like such.
After you make you furnace you should expand your cave to accommodate all your stuff. A size like this shall do.
You should also create a storage box you can create one by crafting it with the crafting table like such.
Going out side at night time can be extremely dangerous. Be careful make sure you have torches and a sword handy. You will need it unless you are playing on peaceful. Then you wont need to make a sword to fight off enemies, only reason being is that there will be no enemies.
Once out side and playing on any difficulty except peaceful the odds are you will find some mobs. You can find a mob list under the "Mob List" page.
Here is a common enemy, and probably the most annoying, the creeper.
The creeper will produce a hissing sound then finally explode. The crater it will leave is pretty big here is an example.
There you have it, if it starts turning day, congratulations you made it through your first night in Minecraft.
